Long-time contributor David Aber passed away recently. He was a co-editor who wrote and photographed for the blog for years; before that he contributed photos that I'd post.
My fondest memory is from ten years ago, for the blog's tenth anniversary. He drove slowly past the longggg Stone Curves mural on North Stone and I took video out the window. He also edited mural photos carefully until they were just right… that can take a lot of time, and he took it!
For now, at least, you can see a lot more of his photos — not just murals — on his Flickr account. Here's a link to David's Flickr albums.
Rest in peace, Dave. Thanks (a bit late…) for all you did for Tucson mural lovers.

This blog on (short, I hope) pause
As much as I want to keep posting murals here, I can't do it now. Please keep coming back from time to time (make a note in your calendar?) to see if I'm posting again.
I recommend the Facebook group Tucson Murals and Street Art, https://www.facebook.com/groups/1738030179787390/. It usually doesn't show as many murals as this blog has, but it'll help you keep in touch with local murals. And, unlike this blog, you'll usually see posts as a mural is being painted. After you join, you can also post your mural finds.
See you again soon?!

PS: If you're only seeing this post on your screen, there are lots more murals! To start at the front page, click on the logo at the top of this page. Then scroll down. If you're using a phone, remember to drag the blog wider so the photos look bigger.
